Collection: Developmental and infant toys for babies

Our selection of developmental toys and early creative activities gently supports babies and toddlers in their discoveries. Sensory games, toddler modeling clay, finger paints, stamps, and first markers awaken the senses, curiosity, and fine motor skills, with materials designed for little hands.

Washable and safe, designed for this age

It's the first question parents ask, and it's a legitimate one. Our kits use non-toxic materials and washable colors, with large formats that are easy to grip: ergonomic wax crayons, large stamps with handles, and thick-handled brushes. It's enough to let a toddler explore without worry, and clean up without spending the whole evening on it.

Progression by age

From 12 months, the first washable crayons and markers allow for the discovery of movement and making marks. Around 18 months, stamps and large coloring posters arrive, then, from age 2, toddler modeling clay and its wooden rollers. Sensory games and finger painting take over around age 3.

Awakening the senses above all

At this age, children learn primarily through touch. Sensory materials to knead, soft clay, and paint that can be spread with both hands stimulate touch, sight, and coordination, much more so than a toy to look at. It is also an activity that can be shared with an adult, sitting on the floor, screen-free.

A birth or first birthday gift

Our sets make beautiful gift ideas for a birth, christening, or first birthday, whether given individually or as a gift set. To explore further, discover our Montessori toys, our birth gifts, and our painting kits for kids as the child grows.
