A British manufacturer, textile designer, printer, writer, poet, lecturer, painter, draftsman and architect, this multi-talented artist is at the origin of the Arts and Crafts movement (decorative arts and crafts) in England.

His creations perfectly combine solidity and aesthetics whether on wallpapers, textiles, or even stained glass windows inspired by primitive Italian painters and Pre-Raphaelite works.
